Support for your child who is learning to communicate is provided in your home or other natural environment, such as school or daycare.   This is to observe skills where he or she is most successful and comfortable, obtain a clear view of your child's strengths, and create goals that are meaningful and relevant to his or her everyday life.

  • Develop profile of your child's strengths 
     
  • Creation of goals aimed at having communication work for your child and fulfilling goals that are important to you  
     
  • Highlighting and demonstrating simple actions to assist your child in learning to communicate,  you in connecting with your child as you communicate, and to assist you both in enjoying the process
     
  • Collaboration with members of your child's team, including but not limited to educational and medical interventionists
